All of our practitioners embrace their clients ailments and needs when working to fulfill the body’s recovery. Please communicate with your therapist any maintenance and athletic goals, issues or contra-indications (diseases, surgeries, ailments, etc.) prior to receiving bodywork.

Bodywork Cancellation Policy

Arrival

In-home services offer an arrival time window of 15 minutes is included by appointment scheduled start time. Therapists will communicate if there is any delay. All services offered have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) will not be shortened by the therapist.

Late arrivals

If the massage therapist, acupuncturist, bodyworker, energy or other independent health care professional (HCP) is late for the appointment window, time will be added to your session as necessary to fulfill the session. If there is no opportunity to make up the lost time then you will receive a discount or will not be charged for the service, whichever the HCP feels is most practical.

Late arrivals due to circumstances beyond your control (ex: inclement weather, family emergencies, canceled childcare, etc.) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds/Credits/Cancellation

Full payment is required in advance when scheduling services in-home, hotel, office (unless invoiced otherwise). If you can not keep an appointment, simply re-schedule with 24 hours or more to ensure you are not charged a cancellation fee. If you must cancel, please keep the below rules in mind.

* Cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, then you can either:

(a) receive a full refund or (b) re-schedule your appointment.

* Cancel your appointment less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment you will be charged a cancellation fee.

What if the HCP cancels on me?

* If, for whatever reason, the HCP cancels the appointment with less than 24 hours notice you will receive a complete refund.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations due to circumstances beyond your control (ex: inclement weather, family emergencies, canceled childcare, etc.) will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment, at least 24 hours notice must be given prior to your scheduled appointment. A re-schedule will not permit a cancellation fee. If you fail to show and/or do not call your scheduled HCP, you will be charged the full service fee.

If you are booking your service within 24 hours of the actual appointment time, you will be charged the full amount of the appointment.

Bodywork (Office)

Office hours are for Denver HQ (455 S. Hudson Street, Suite #300, Denver, Co). Bodywork sessions are available by appointment only. Credit Card, Cash accepted. Checks among others (Venmo, Paypal, Direct deposit) are not accepted. All office hours require full payment as deposit. See cancellation policy below.

$25 cancellation fee if within 24 hours

$50 cancellation fee if cancelled within 4 hours of session

Bodywork (In-home)

Credit cards only please. Checks among others (Venmo, Paypal, Direct deposit) are not accepted. All in-home sessions require full payment through scheduling component as deposit. For your security and safety, signature is mandatory on practitioner arrival and departure. Session will not be completed, no refund given*, and name will be added to client blacklist if complaints are made by practitioner or any witness thereof. See cancellation policy below.

Bodywork (In-home) Cancellation Policy

$35 cancellation fee if within 24 hours

$75 cancellation fee if cancelled within 4 hours of session

Bodywork (Hotel)

Credit cards only please. Checks among others (Venmo, Paypal, Direct deposit) are not accepted. All hotel sessions require full payment through scheduling component as deposit. For your security and safety, practitioner will check in with concierge and a signature is mandatory upon practitioner arrival to your room. Session will not be completed, no refund given*, and name will be added to client blacklist if complaints are made by hotel staff, concierge, practitioner or any witness thereof. See cancellation policy below.

Bodywork (In-hotel) Cancellation Policy

Full refund if cancelled outside of 24 hr window.*

$45 cancellation fee if within 24 hours.

$100 cancellation fee if cancelled within 4 hours of session.

*If any complaints arise from staff, practitioners or on-lookers at any scheduled session, bodywork location, etc., client will:

  • Not receive the allotted bodywork time.
  • Not be given a refund.
  • Not be allowed to re-book with another SMART Bodywork® practitioner.
  • Possibly be reported to authorities (if actions permit).

Sickness

If you are sick or contagious please reschedule your appointment for another time. At least 24 hours notice must be given prior to your scheduled appointment. If less than 24 hours is given, you will be charged the full cancellation fee. If you fail to show and/or do not call, you will be charged the full service fee. Cancellations due to circumstances beyond your control (ex: serious last minute illness/injury, child sickness, etc.) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Payment

All payments are expected to be made when scheduling the appointment. Payment is accepted in the form of credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard).

All packages must be paid in full prior to the session(s). Refunds/Credits will be issued in the event of a cancellation of at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session (please refer to the cancellation policy above).

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates may be forfeited for cancellations with less than 4 hours notice or less. Cancellations due to circumstances beyond your control (ex: inclement weather, family emergencies, canceled childcare, etc.) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

If you were a no show due to circumstances beyond your control (ex: inclement weather, family emergencies, canceled childcare, etc.) this will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please let us know if this is the case for you.

Respect for the client-massage therapist relationship

You, the client, should be open and honest with your therapist at all times. Feedback about the session, such as: if the sessions aren’t working, any situations that make you uncomfortable, massage techniques that you may or may not like, any body areas you would like avoided, etc.
